Man Writes Love Letter In Newspaper

A man took up a half page in the SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS on Tuesday December 22, 2009, to express his deep and undying love for a woman who left him 37 years ago.

In the letter, he professes that he regrets not focusing on her and their life and that he takes the little green note on which she wrote "Never let go" with him everywhere he goes.

He admits that he has done many things wrong in their relationship, but that he has never stopped loving her and freely gives her his soul to take with her if she wishes to.

Even if MEGAN, the recipient, thinks that RAUL, the writer, is a complete loser, she has to admit that it warms her heart just a little that a man is so willing to profess his love for her in such a grandiose fashion.

After all, this seems to be what all women long for. And now MEGAN has received RAUL's confession of undying love. Stay tuned for what she does with this information.

Online Dating Statistics

Recently I attended a private dinner party with about 10 other guests. As I was mingling, I found myself standing with a sweet couple talking about what we all do for a living.

"I'M A PHOTOGRAPHER AND I SPECIALIZE IN NATURAL PHOTOS FOR ONLINE DATING."

They both looked at each other and giggled. When I asked what was so funny, they told me that they had just met two months ago and were very excited about their romance. And after a long search, trying to find someone special, they had met each other through online dating.

The woman in the couple then proceeded to tell me about several of her friends who had also met their partners online. As we were talking, another couple in the room added,

"WE ALSO MET ONLINE."

I know there are all sorts of amazing online dating statistics, but it's always refreshing and exciting to meet success stories in the flesh. These living breathing examples of finding love online, breathe new life into my everyday work. I guess I am truly just a romantic at heart and I know I have a passion for helping people to show their best self in photos. It makes me feel so good to know that the work I do is actually making a difference out there and is helping to bring more love into people's lives.

Do You Sabotage Your Success With Women

You know, a funny thing happened to me the other day.

I was in line at the supermarket, and before me was a rather beautiful latina woman. And oddly enough, the first thing that popped into my head was:

"She probably has a boyfriend."

But then, I caught myself.

See, I noticed she didn't have a ring on her finger, so I knew she wasn't married. And she was so pretty, I couldn't believe she was single. But the point was -- I didn't know!

This is a really common habit most guys can fall into. They look for ways to sabotage themselves before they even try talking to a woman.

They think things like

"She's probably taken."

"I'm probably not her type."

"She'll probably reject me."

Blah, blah, blah.

All these thoughts are, is an attempt to justify our fear of approaching women!

This is our brain trying to give us a "way out" without us feeling bad about it.

But the simple fact remains: You don't know if any of it is true.

YOU SIMPLY DON'T KNOW.

And the only way you're really going to know is if you take a chance and find out!

Even though I was in dumpy clothes, hadn't yet showered, and was sporting a 3-day old beard, I decided to approach this beautiful young woman in front of me.

And you know what?

She DIDN'T have a boyfriend.

But she DID give me her number!

Had I given into my brain's attempt to sabotage my desire to meet this woman and give into my nervousness about approaching her in the state I was in, I would never have had that success.

There are two things you must always remember to protect yourself from self-sabotage when it comes to women.

1. If you have a negative thought that contains the word "probably", "can't", or "won't", then chances are that thought is trying to SABOTAGE you.

2. You never know for sure until you attempt to meet a woman.

These two simple rules are EXTREMELY important in overcoming your inability to approach.

The fact is, most women are open to meeting you. And if they aren't, they'll tell you.

But if they ARE, that's when the fun begins!

Whether you've been dating a guy for several years or have just begun a relationship with a guy you think is the one, the Corbett sisters offer up" List: 7 Ways to Tell If He's Going to Marry You - in 30 Days of Less!

While the book does provide some useful tips, there are some serious issues with the book. The authors believe that men typically experience love at first sight, and I think we can all agree that that's bull crap.

Also, the authors seem to think that if a guy doesn't propose right away, then women will be wasting 5 years of their lives in a dead end relationship with a guy who never plans on marrying them.

But the book does provide some helpful tidbits:

* If a guy doesn't call within a couple of days of meeting you, then he's not that interested.
* If all your dates consist of you hanging out with his buddies, then he's not serious about you.
* If you catch him lying about some big things, he's a loser and not worth marrying.

So while there are some morsels of goodness, overall, the book likely won't be incredibly helpful to women who are in serious search of a man to marry.

A teacher asks her class, "If there are 5 birds sitting on a fence and you shoot one of them, how many will be left?" She calls on little Johnny.

"None, they all fly away with the first gunshot."

The teacher replies, "The correct answer is 4, but I like your thinking."
