When I took Martin Seligman's character strengths assessment, my top strength (both times - I took both the current and the new "beta" version) was:
APPRECIATION OF BEAUTY AND EXCELLENCE You notice and appreciate beauty, excellence, and/or skilled performance in all domains of life, from nature to art to mathematics to science to everyday experience.
One of the top recommendations of positive psychology practitioners regarding the character strengths survey is to take your results and focus on your top strengths. This is the best way for any of us to charge our batteries and make us feel we're living fulfilled lives. So I look to TED for inspiration on a regular basis.
