In a twist that can only be called "Hell it's about time!" by men everywhere, it seems that women are getting down on one knee to do the proposing nowadays.

Referred to as the "reverse proposal", it seems that the ladies are getting sick and tired of sitting around waiting for men to do the proposing and so, they are asking for their men's hands in marriage.

And yes, some women are even going so far as buying male engagement rings for their boys to make the moment even more special.

According to a survey done by a jewelry company who promotes the sale of male engagements rings [read: this survey is complete bulltish], 1 in 3 people know a woman who did the proposing.

Some might wonder if women are proposing because they're sick of waiting for the guys to do it. But it's also quite possible that women are proposing because they love their guys and want to spend the rest of their lives with them. Which is the same reason why men propose.

Men must feel such a sense of relief when their women do the proposing.

Dont Hit Me On The Head

A guy walks into a bar with a pet alligator by his side. He puts the alligator up on the bar and turns to the astonished patrons. "I'll make you a deal: I'll open this alligator's mouth and place my genitals inside. Then the gator will close his mouth for one minute. He'll then open his mouth and I'll remove my unit unscathed. In return for witnessing this spectacle, each of you will buy me a drink."

The crowd murmured their approval. The man stood up on the bar, dropped his trousers, and placed his privates in the alligator's open mouth. The gator closed his mouth as the crowd gasped. The crowd cheered and the first of his free drinks was delivered. The man stood up again and made another offer. "I'll pay anyone who's willing to give it a try $100." A hush fell over the crowd.

After a while, a hand went up in the back of the bar. A woman timidly spoke up, "I'll try, but you have to promise not to hit me on the head with the beer bottle."

A certain amount of a set is "fluff talk" - small talk, your basic getting-to-know-you conversation. This is an important and unavoidable part of comfort building, and it happens in every set. However, a lot of guys don't get the most out of this part of the game, letting attraction fade. Read on for some fundamental advice to help you keep the set moving forward while engaging in fluff talk.

"FUTURE PROJECTIONS" are a great tool to use during fluff talk. A future projection is any time you get a girl to talk about an imaginary, positive future. Because women often feel emotions stronger than we do, having them imagine positive future situations that involve them causes your value in their eyes to skyrocket.

Talk about trips she'd like to take, talk about her dream job, talk about anything exciting she might have in her future. Focus on the positive, and write yourself into the story: if her dream is to go visit the greek islands, talk about how you imagine it must feel to swim in warm Mediterranean waters, and how the two of you could rent a yacht.

One of biggest benefits of this is that it's not boring. You should always strive to avoid "the interview" - where you ask questions with simple, literal answers that she's probably answered a thousand times: "What's your job? What's your major? Do you have brothers and sisters?"

There are three good ways to avoid the interview. The first is called "question into statement." It's pretty simple. You take a question you'd like to know the answer to, and instead of asking her, you make a guess as to what the answer, and you tell her. For example, "I bet you're a psych major." Not only do you get major points if you guess right, but even if you guess wrong, you've launched the conversation in an interesting and compelling direction. "No, I do bio. Why'd you think psych?" and then you do a cold read, or you just ask a followup question. Don't be afraid of guessing wrong - the confidence you display by having a guess more than makes up for it.

The second way to avoid the interview is to ask more playful variants of interview-type questions. For example, instead of asking, "What do you do for a living?" you might ask, "When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?" (You could also combine these two techniques: "I bet you wanted to grow up to be a doctor when you were a kid." This can be followed up with nicely teasing. If she asks you how you knew, play with her. "Well, you clearly think you know what's best for everyone!")

The third way to avoid the interview is to ask deeper versions of the standard questions. For example, "What's your favorite part of your job?" The focus here is not on the nuts-and-bolts of what she does for a living, but rather getting her to feel the positive emotions she associates with her job. The more specific and unique the questions you can ask, the better you'll do. Listen carefully to her answer, and ask an insightful follow-up question!

With these techniques, always be on the lookout for an waves of positive emotions - buying temperature spikes - and use them as a chance to escalate your kino.

1- WOMEN WANT TO MAKE LOVE

While it's not completely untrue that women enjoy a soft, sensual love session every now and again, women also enjoy being ravished and controlled in bed.

I have yet to meet a woman who doesn't enjoy submitting to her man and letting him take lead of her body in bed.

2- WOMEN WANT YOU IN TOUCH WITH YOUR FEMININE SIDE

Never has one expression been taken so out of context. When this phrase was coined, it meant that women wanted men to help around the house; it didn't mean that we wanted to see you break down and cry at the sight of a cute kitten in a toilet paper commercial.

Women don't want effeminate men and they don't want men who are too in tune with their feelings. We want men with machismo and testosterone coursing through their veins.

3- WOMEN WANT TO TAKE CARE OF YOU

While many women do enjoy cooking and looking after their men, too many guys make the mistake of taking advantage of that. This is not an era where women's objectives are to be homemakers.

When she takes care of you, appreciate it and know that she's doing it because she wants to, not because she has to. This is what makes her care-taking doubly impressive.

While it's true that women want equal pay for equal work, don't think for one second that women don't want a chivalrous man who will help her when she needs it.

While it's great that you're devoted to loving only her, understand that the lady in your life wants you to have more than just a girlfriend. You had a life before her, keep that going.

If you dismiss all your friends and stop playing soccer on the weekends with the boys, she will start thinking you're a loser with security issues. Or worse, the dreaded nice guy.

Keep your friends and keep your extra-curricular activities, and you'll get to keep your girlfriend.

Despite what all these dating books and chick flicks might have you believe, many women are content with dating without the immediate intention of marriage.

And yes, while it may be true that 5 years of dating may change all that, when you first begin dating, there's a good chance that she just wants to get to know you without the intention of having your children by year's end.

And if you don't believe this, test it out. Next time you're out on a first date, tell your date that you want to get married and have kids. Watch how fast she bolts. Yes, even women scare off if the marriage talk begins at date #1.

Have you noticed that the set-up of these online dating sites gives you the impression that you don’t have to work that hard? After all, if your preferred online dating site is so dedicated to your search for an e-lationship, what do you need to do besides sit back, stretch your legs, cross your arms, and wait to click on the perfect match sent by your site?

Just like regular real-world relationships, online relationships need tending, to grow over time. Here are some quick growing tips.

- Respect each others privacy. Don’t share personal email addresses or digital photos online, for example, if your online date sent you the information in confidence.
- Take time and make time. Does your online date get in touch with you regularly? Do you do the same? Neglecting virtual meetings can be considered abuse or neglect, so treat each other’s time with respect. If it’s lacking, might mean time to move on.
- Share special online and offline fun times. Online – send greeting cards, links to favorite places to upload digital photos of your favorite pet, download music and video clips, post on favorite forums of interest. Offline- if you’re exchanging addresses or post office boxes, send print greeting cards and postcards, small items from your area (like a key chain with your state bird).
- Communication needs to “feel” right for both of you. If one of you is too pushy about meeting, for instance, that can give off bad vibes. So don’t rush. Take time to learn more about each other and develop trust.

If you’re a member of OkCupid, you’ll notice its cupid-esque feature, Quiver, sending its generated matches your way. Similar to Match.com’s Daily 5, you may notice an uncanny lack of correlation between your actual romantic interests and the arrows Quiver shoots in your direction. As I said to a good friend the other day after scoping out my Quiver possibilities, “What the gosh darn heck?” (I’m not very profane.)

If you’re a member of Match.com, these matches are sent to you via your Daily 5. These are five prospects for which you can’t see a complete profile, but just pictures and some general information. If you click “I’m interested,” you’ll show up as an interested person on that person’s profile. Conversely, if somebody clicks “I’m interested” when your abridged profile shows up in his or her Daily 5, you’ll receive a notification that the person is interested. Match.com professes to have a “unique algorithm” that helps them identify a Daily 5 that piques your interest, but as a good friend of mine who recently joined Match.com said to me the other day, “What the $#%&?” Match.com’s algorithms might be saying, “Yes, yes yes!” but your internal reaction to its chosen match prospects may be, “No, no no!” (Another reason why computer-generated chemistry isn’t always a sound idea.)

So while sitting back, crossing your arms, stretching your legs, and waiting for the computer to decide your romantic future may sound enticing, you may find that you make headway by taking a more active role in the searching process. You know what you want, so set explicit criteria (you can even refine your search by religious beliefs, political philosophy, or body type, amongst other criteria).

So today’s tip is to take control, create a search, and email the results who really catch your eye. Don’t settle for computer-generated chemistry if it’s not producing the results you’d like. Tend your online relationship. Water it with care and over time it can sprout and grow.
